How does a clothes swap work?

At our clothes swap, you can hand in clothes in good condition that you no longer wear and restock your closet. But you don’t have to bring any clothes, you can also just take something with you. And the best thing is: it’s completely free! Of course, we are still happy to receive a donation to help fund the volunteer project. For example, your donation will help us to build new changing rooms.

Who organizes the clothes swap?

What started as a small event in a shared flat is now a regular open clothes swap event for everyone. Our initiative is run by a core organizing team and a large group of volunteers. The event is now supported by Raumkultur e. V.
Would you like to help? Then just write to us!

What happens to the remaining clothing?

We always store some of the remaining clothes for the next clothes swap. If there are still items left over, we give them to local redistribution points. It is important to us that clothes in good condition remain in the exchange cycle and can thus fulfill their purpose for a long time to come.
